In 2023, tired of shoeboxes, forgotten receipts, and month-end scrambles, he built a small app for himself. Just something to snap a slip, capture the details, and stop losing VAT. He used it privately for several years.
Whenever colleagues, clients, or fellow directors saw him whip out his phone at a coffee shop, they'd ask the same question: "Can I use that?" For years his answer was the same: "No - it's just a personal app for myself. It's not built for others to use."
Then in 2026, he decided it was time to invest in his personal fix and turn it into a product for all businesses.
That's how SlipZapper was born.
